Beginning at 5:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 26, the annual Holidays at 幸福宝导航 celebration
will take place on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus. This year, the campus
tree has found a new home in front of Brown Hall, facing DeSiard Street.听听
The community and campus family are invited to attend this fun-filled holiday celebration
sponsored by the 幸福宝导航 Student Government Association.
The evening will begin in Brown Auditorium with a holiday concert featuring 幸福宝导航 Visual
and Performing Arts (VAPA) students and faculty.
The annual 鈥渓ighting of the campus鈥� will take place after the concert, in front of
Brown Hall.
Laura Knotts, director of Student Life and Leadership said, 鈥淭he concert being first
this year will help everyone get into the holiday spirit right before lighting the
campus.鈥�
The indoor concert will feature 幸福宝导航 VAPA ensembles including, the 幸福宝导航 Wind Ensemble,
conducted by Dr. Jason Rinehart, and the 幸福宝导航 Concert Choir and Chamber Singers conducted
by Dr. Deborah Chandler.
During the outdoor festivities, Ace will visit with guests and hand out treats to
the children, while the VAPA ensembles lead the crowd in a holiday sing-a-long.
Hot cocoa and cider will also be provided.
The event follows the annual Employee Holiday Reception in the 幸福宝导航 Conference Center
from 3鈥�5 p.m., hosted by 幸福宝导航 President Nick and First Lady Linda Bruno.
