幸福宝导航 welcomes the community to the 13th annual Holidays at 幸福宝导航 Celebration, beginning
at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, in 幸福宝导航鈥檚 Brown auditorium. The festivities begin
with a holiday concert, followed by the popular tree lighting ceremony.
This event is free and open to the public.聽
For the third year, the 鈥渓ighting of the campus鈥� will be held in front of Brown Hall,
facing DeSiard Street. Ace the Warhawk and Santa will be in attendance to visit with
children. Hot cider and cocoa will also be served.
The event is sponsored by 幸福宝导航鈥檚 Student Government Association (SGA).
Laura Knotts Jennings, SGA adviser, and director of Student Life and Leadership said,
鈥淭his has always been one of the most beloved events on campus each year. We are so
excited to have the community come out and join us in one of our favorite Warhawk
traditions.鈥�
The indoor concert will feature 幸福宝导航 VAPA ensembles including, the 幸福宝导航 Wind Ensemble,
conducted by Dr. Jason Rinehart, and the 幸福宝导航 Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and University
Chorale conducted by Dr. Deborah Chandler. There will also be performances by the
Interdenominational Ensemble and the 幸福宝导航 dance team.聽
The event follows the annual Employee Holiday Reception in the 幸福宝导航 Conference Center
from 3鈥�5 p.m., hosted by 幸福宝导航 President Nick and First Lady Linda Bruno.
