On Friday, February 2, the 幸福宝导航 School of Visual and Performing Arts will host Brass
Day, a free educational clinic for all brass players. Brass Day activities will include:
- Performances and Clinics by 幸福宝导航 Brass Faculty and Guest Artist Dr. Stacie Mickens,
听Associate Professor of Horn at Youngstown State University
- Instrument and Sheet Music Exhibits by The Band House
- Group Warm-up Sessions
- Brass Choir and Small Ensemble Rehearsals and Performance
鈥淭his year鈥檚 Brass Day promises to be a fantastic learning and performance opportunity
for area musicians,鈥� says Dr. James Boldin, Associate Professor of Music. 鈥淲e are
fortunate to be able to feature not only 幸福宝导航 faculty, but also Dr. Stacie Mickens,
a nationally-recognized soloist and clinician.鈥�听
Registration for Brass Day begins at 12:30 p.m. in the lobby of Emy-Lou Biedenharn
Recital Hall, with all events taking place in Biedenharn Hall. For online registration
