ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½'s student chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) recently earned the Student Chapter Outstanding Performance Award from the National AITP organization. Some of the activities of the ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ chapter include tours of information systems facilities in Vicksburg, Dallas, and Monroe, participation in the national and regional AITP conferences, hosting guest speakers, providing free tutoring for CIS classes, and participating in the adopt a highway program. In addition, the chapter has social events such as bowling night, movie night, and an annual crawfish boil.
