Quarter Century Club and Golden Society Celebrated at ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½

The ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ Alumni Association along with the ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ Foundation are celebrating two special groups of people this weekend: The Golden Society, which is composed of graduates from ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ 50+years ago, and the Quarter Century Club, which is made up of people who have worked at ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ for over 25 years. This is the reunion of both groups. ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ is pleased to honor those who have been associated with the university for all these years. Please call 342-5421 for more information.

Events include:

Friday April 30.

4:30 p.m. Social time at Brown Gym

5:15 p.m.- Dinner at Brown Gym followed by the music of the LATrio.

Saturday May 1

3 p.m. Baseball- ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ vs. Texas-Arlington at Indian Field.

A member of the Golden Society will throw out the first pitch.

Earlier on Friday the Golden Society enjoyed a reception at the University House, watched ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ students dance at the Fine Arts Festival Friday, and had lunch at the Wig Wam followed by a tour of the library.
